The Schlaufenstuhl comprises a closed fabric loop which is fitted on top of a sophisticated wire frame. The loop folds to create a seat, backrest and armrests. The two-tone fabric accentuates the loop design and lends the chair its playful character.
Its load-bearing fabric texture is similar to a director’s chair. The result is an unconventional piece of furniture – something between a stool and a chair – which does not need a seat shell or thick padding, but which is nevertheless comfy and easy to handle. The fabric contains a thin
layer of padding. The loop, which lends the chair its originality, can be completely dismantled.
